an unforgettable & amazing experience.

im suppose to give birth to my adorable son on the 24Oct2010 but … my darling is still comfortably sleeping and playing inside so I was told by my gynae, Dr Goh Shen Li to come down on the 28Oct2010 to be induce.

On the day itself, yours truly had her hair straighten, wore pretty make up, harem pants & a tank top all of that to welcome our lil angel. As I didnt know how the pain is going to be like, I was pretty calm and at the same time excited.

At around 1800hrs on 28oct2010, I check in to the observation room, no husband allowed. I wanted to cry so bad bcos i wanted my husband to be there with me thru out but it’s only for a very short time. An hour later my gynae came and had a check on me, she said i’m already 3cm dilated. She asked the nurse to bring me to the labour ward to had my waterbag burst and that is already 7ish. It’s really uncomfortable. AT about 8pm I start to feel the contraction, not that bad, not really painful as I thought it would be, I can still smile, watch tv and even sleep. BUT wait, it’s not over yet. Around 2200hrs, the pain starts to come and go and it’s so painful that I need the gas. Nearly 0200hrs I tried pushing but i’m not strong enough. I pushed many many times. I nearly gave up or shall say Ive given up cos im too tired to push. At 0330hrs my gynae came to help me out and finally I gave a final hard push, at 0400hrs sharp our babylove was born on 29Oct2010 which falls on my birthday. We name him Adam Aqeel. Adam was the most cutest when the nurse put him on my chest. He weighs 3.4kg, height 50cm. The greatest gift i could ever have.

My husband saw everything, he’s a brave man i shall say and a funny one too. I wanted to thank love for being there to support me thru out.

We love you Adam Aqeel since the day ur in mummy’s tummy till forever.

p/s: i did not use EPI. I’m a strong woman! woohoo =))
